About the role
- Support and/or lead solid rocket motor and controllable solid rocket motor development test programs with testing in various environments.
- Develop system and subsystem test execution plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Lead and/or chair Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
- Coordinate test equipment, test facility preparations, test article assembly, hardware assessment, and instrumentation requirements.
- Support requirements verification and planning and risk assessment.
- Communicate plans, status, and results to internal program team and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior Test and Verification experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Test and Verification experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior Test and Verification experience.
- Bachelors' Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline is preferred.
- Active US Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
- Experience in propulsion system (primarily solid propulsion) testing is highly desired.
- Demonstrated leadership competency and solid communication skills, in both verbal and written is preferred.
- Experience in preparing test plans, test readiness review presentations, and test reports is preferred.
- Experience coordinating integrated teams for propulsion system testing is preferred.
