About the role
- Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas
- Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
- Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
- Perform certifications and provide clarifications to Pass/Fail criteria
- Review and address station issues
- Identify and escalate potential part non conformances
- Disposition/Data Correct systems that fail within production
- Identify failure trends and process improvements
- Preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on fixturing and equipment
- Participate in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience
- 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
- Support individual contributor, able to work under limited supervision with initiative autonomously
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Electronics background with proficiency in electrical troubleshooting
- Data gathering and basic data analysis capabilities
