About the role
- Own and deliver the enterprise roadmap for COLO consolidation and edge modernization.
- Lead executive governance, cross-functional coordination, and program prioritization.
- Support portfolio planning by aligning project priorities, resources, and timelines with leadership.
- Define and enforce architecture standards for COLO and edge platforms.
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of COLO and data center infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.
- Coordinate workload migrations with minimal downtime, including risk assessments.
- Oversee network readiness, site connectivity upgrades, and edge refresh programs.
- Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, and commercial outcomes for COLO and infrastructure services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 8+ years leading large-scale IT infrastructure, COLO, or data center transformation programs
- Strong knowledge of COLO facilities, interconnects, hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud security
- Proven ability to manage complex vendor ecosystems, multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management
- Budget ownership, cost optimization, and knowledge of FinOps
