About the role
- Improve manufacturing processes by reducing variation and strengthening control
- Analyze process capability, stability, and failure modes using data-driven methods
- Develop and implement process improvements, controls, and mistake-proofing
- Apply and sustain SPC to maintain process performance
- Support APQP, PFMEA, control plans, and production readiness
- Partner with operators, engineers, and supervisors to improve process understanding and ownership
- Provide manufacturing process expertise to team-led improvement initiatives
- Teach and coach teams on process discipline and quality fundamentals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 9 years of prior Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering experience
- 4+ years experience improving manufacturing processes in a production environment
- 4+ years data analysis experience working with manufacturing data
- 4+ years experience teaching, coaching and mentoring others
- 2+ years APQP and Process Control experience
