About the role
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing plans and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution
- Assist, develop and maintain process documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide Design for manufacturability and assembly feedback
- May design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Experience with manufacturing and assembly of space hardware
- Experience working within ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP
- Experience working within PLM software to manage parts, assemblies and documentation
- Proficiency in machining, GD&T and assembly processes
- Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing processes.
