About the role
- Assist experienced Test Technicians with preparation and set up of testing site for rocket motor testing
- Under direct guidance from a Test Engineer, load the test motor into the Test Stand
- Instrument the test motor per the test plan under direct supervision of engineering team
- Assist with motor moves into Conditioning Chambers at all hours of day or night as required
- Learn to set and program Conditioning Chamber temperature per Test Plan
- Must be able to lift moderate weight
- Outdoor work is required both summer and winter conditions
Requirements
- Technical School Diploma or Associates Degree in Engineering or Science preferred
- Previous experience with Energetic handling and manufacturing a plus
- Electronics and Electrical circuit background preferred
- Experience with PLC programming
- Experience with Military Standard Testing (Mil STD 810)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
