About the role
- Support a defense program where financial performance, data accuracy, and timely insight are critical to success.
- Partner closely with Program Managers and cross-functional teams to provide financial leadership across program planning, execution, and performance measurement.
- Guide program financials including development of time-phased integrated budgets and schedules, Earned Value (EV) data compliance and reporting and ongoing oversight of cost and schedule integration.
- Budgeting, cost control, and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and financial support.
- Development of quarterly EACs; analyze/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.
- Monitor costs ensuring that actuals are within budget.
- Perform analytical assessment and financial forecast submission for accurate reporting of orders, sales, profit, and cash collection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant finance experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related finance experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior finance experience.
- 4+ years’ experience using Excel as a daily tool and 2+ years’ experience using other MS OFFICE tools such as PowerPoint.
- 4+ years’ experience with financial analysis, forecasting and reporting to include variance explanations.
- 2+ years’ experience with budgeting and earned value reporting.
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
