About the role
- Responsible for performing systems engineering test tasks associated with aircraft modernization, maintenance and new aircraft systems integration and testing.
- Performs development and execution of software quality methods and processes.
- Responsible for tests, methods and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards.
- Support the development effort required to integrate Avionics, Communications and Mission systems on multiple assigned platforms.
- Tasking includes authoring of Test Procedures, and performing System Operation and Verification Tests (SOVT) for avionics, communications, including cockpit systems, special mission systems, and navigation equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior aircraft systems test engineering experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior aircraft systems test engineering experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
- Minimum 6 months experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
