About the role
- Demonstrated object-oriented development experience using C++ or JAVA
- Software component development, implementation, and integration in Linux
- Experience using scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work closely with assigned teams
- Ability to analyze requirements and design tradeoffs against scope, cost, and schedule constraints
- Champions continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities into software development process and products
- Document software designs, practices, and development procedures
- Support automated scanning of software and identify vulnerabilities and defects
- Engage and lead code reviews and system design reviews
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Capable of collaborating closely with other engineers in a small team or working independently as needed
- Manage complex projects or processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Active DoD Security Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
