About the role
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team
- Ensure engineering practices align with industry standards and best practices
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
- Communicate engineering progress and challenges to senior management
- Manage engineering budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
- Develop and make technical presentations to L3Harris groups
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, Electrical Engineering
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in one or more of the following: Programming in National Instruments Labview™, Analog circuit design, laser circuitry and test/operation, Digital circuit design, Electro-optical integration activities, Power supply design and EMI prevention, Troubleshooting electrical issues and resolve problems on a variety of high-voltage industrial equipment, Military Specifications/Standards, Performing technician level tasks and assignments, Using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies and pulse generators, Test and debug of analog and digital circuit boards and high-power electronics
- Must be able to effectively flow down system requirements into a system test plan
- Creating design review presentations to technical audiences including engineering, manufacturing personnel and senior management team members.
