Lead and execute manufacturing engineering activities for the assembly and integration of electromechanical assemblies
Develop scalable processes from technical documentation and create manufacturing procedures and routers
Propose, develop and lead process improvement and cost reduction projects
Lead elements of the manufacturing process including optimization of manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts
Lead design changes by coordinating with design engineering
Estimate and track manufacturing costs
Interface with and direct technicians and other operations personnel
Support capacity planning and lab space layout support

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Electrical or electro-mechanical engineering experience
Experience with optical engineering a plus
Evidence of strong problem-solving capability
Lean (Green Belt, Black Belt) certification
CAD training (Solid Works/AutoCAD)
Knowledge of program and project management techniques and tools
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 industry standards
