About the role
- Work under general direction and guidance within standard processes to manage security processes essential for classified facility operations primarily focused on document control
- Assists in developing Security Education, Training and Awareness briefing materials; track completion data and maintain training records of employees
- Maintains records and archiving security relevant information
- Manages multiple tasks and coordinate activities within deadlines
- Transmission and preparation of classified material including package preparation, authoring transportation plans, providing courier guidance and training to internal employees
- Maintain NSA COMSEC account and perform custodian duties
- Research and implement National and Department of Defense security regulations, maintaining knowledge, and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements
- Recognize and report security violations and prepare reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Active Secret US Security Clearance Preferred
- Security Information Management System (SIMS)
- Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Initiative in pursuing problems, opportunities, and innovative solutions while maintaining security compliance
- Ability to implement compliance programs
- Experience and practical knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and applicable DoD Directives
- Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, customer relationship building skills, and analytical skills.
