About the role
- Engineering customized configurations for IP networking equipment based on customer requirement.
- Developing and maintaining Enterprise IP Addressing plans.
- Deploying planned configuration changes to support site or standards modifications.
- Maintaining accurate network documentation and homing plans.
- Providing 2nd level support to IP service activation teams.
- Collaborating with IP Engineers to create and maintain configuration baselines of network equipment.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience creating/maintaining IP address plans along with router and switch baseline configurations.
- Experience engineering peering relationships based on BGP, OSPF, and HSRP across internetworked IP network devices.
