About the role
- Act as an IPT lead on the MPBD programs
- Lead, perform, and/or coordinate propulsion program tasks
- Implement design and analysis tasks
- Oversee special studies and coordinate testing activities
- Coordinate ballistic, thermal, and structural analyses
- Perform post-test examination, analyses, and reporting
- Lead Transition to Production activities within the IPT
- Provide technical advice for various production programs related to SRM manufacturing issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior Project Engineering experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Project Engineering experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior Project Engineering experience
- 4 years of IPT Lead experience
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering
- Four or more years of experience with solid propellant propulsion projects
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) is desired
