About the role
- Lead and drive business results through program working capital improvements, program cash, and accurate monthly preparation
- Collaborate cross functionally with a variety of individuals across all levels of the organization
- Interface with senior levels of management
- Focus on important business details driving key financial metrics (earnings, cash flow, orders, revenue)
- Continually assess reasonableness and understand changes in metrics
- Present findings to executive leadership
- Forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning including coordinating, preparing, and analyzing various financial reports
- Weekly closure analysis and reporting for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Cash flow
- Develop and maintain program working capital in FCST system
- Drive understanding of variances and identify corrective actions, risks, or opportunities
- Develop tools, templates, and processes to simplify data gathering and report preparation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Minimum 6-10 year’s experience and demonstrated knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statements
- Requires strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Manage and perform multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Prior experience using Hyperion Planning & Oracle SmartView
- Prior A&D industry experience
- General ledger accounting knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
