About the role

  • Lead and drive business results through program working capital improvements, program cash, and accurate monthly preparation
  • Collaborate cross functionally with a variety of individuals across all levels of the organization
  • Interface with senior levels of management
  • Focus on important business details driving key financial metrics (earnings, cash flow, orders, revenue)
  • Continually assess reasonableness and understand changes in metrics
  • Present findings to executive leadership
  • Forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning including coordinating, preparing, and analyzing various financial reports
  • Weekly closure analysis and reporting for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Cash flow
  • Develop and maintain program working capital in FCST system
  • Drive understanding of variances and identify corrective actions, risks, or opportunities
  • Develop tools, templates, and processes to simplify data gathering and report preparation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Minimum 6-10 year’s experience and demonstrated knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statements
  • Requires strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Manage and perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently
  • Prior experience using Hyperion Planning & Oracle SmartView
  • Prior A&D industry experience
  • General ledger accounting knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
