About the role
- Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies
- Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost, schedule control, and inventory control
- Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
- Provide direct support to Hangar, Dock, and Line (HDL) through problem root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain labor standards for manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups performing concurrent engineering and producibility analysis
- Pull, analyze, and report data to support Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- 0 to 2 years of prior related experience with Graduate Degree or equivalent
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship
