About the role
- Handle, process, and mix chemicals in a laboratory setting.
- Work with lab instrumentation such as FTIR, Instrons, DSC, Microtrac, titrators, & HPLC.
- Sample and test raw materials, propellants, liners, and explosive mixes.
- Prepare and collect raw test data.
- Perform complex mathematical calculations.
- Clean, assemble and dismantle test hardware, test equipment, and test apparatus.
- Perform laboratory support activities such as instrument calibration, cleaning, inventory, inspections, and material handling.
- Generate laboratory test reports, retain test data, and disseminate test reports.
- Generate, review, modify, and submit lab documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant chemistry lab experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related chemistry lab experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related chemistry lab experience.
