About the role
- Supervise a team of MPMs working primarily aircraft modification efforts.
- Function as the point-of-contact between the Program Office, Functional Management, the Customer, supplier relationships, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the material budget for assigned programs in the portfolio.
- Provide accurate material forecast.
- Assist in comprehensive business analysis of program material requirements.
- Collaborate with Program Office Supply Chain, Operations, and Functional Management to define and assign tasks.
- Interact with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing personnel to ensure drawing releases and schedule achievement.
- Provide proposal support for material estimates and estimating the scope of MPM labor.
- Review Statements of Work to establish status metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Requires Active DoD Secret clearance.
- 4+ years in a similar technical MPM or equivalent leadership capacity.
- Strong project management skills.
- Outstanding communication (both verbally and written), negotiation, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Recent experience in Commercial and Military Aviation/Aerospace products development and production is highly desired.
- Knowledge of manpower planning, milestone scheduling, PM tools, and related financial management.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
- Extensive experience of SAP and material processes strongly preferred.
- Proven team player with outstanding customer relationship skills.
