About the role
- Design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations.
- Create system wiring diagrams using the Capital Harness System tool as well as circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- Engineer will be responsible for research, systems integration, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost.
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 to 5 entry-level design engineers for the duration of an assigned project.
- Support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Must be able to travel to and from flight line and work in aircraft hangar environments (some positions will require the ability to board/exit aircraft)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which require U.S. Citizenship
