About the role
- Oversee leading a group of armed proprietary Security Officers and Security control center personnel.
- Responsible for day-to-day security operations including arming personnel, maintaining a duty roster, ensuring proper posting of personnel, accountability of equipment, accuracy of reports.
- Establish regular security inspections and coordinate with firefighting and civil law-enforcement agencies as needed.
- Serve as initial on-scene commander for medical emergencies, minor criminal incidents, and minor/major incidents.
- Patrol the perimeter of the facility and respond to alarmed areas.
- Perform necessary actions to ensure compliance with Company rules and regulations, safe work practices, and other control procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Must possess and maintain level 3 PSB certification through the Texas department of public safety.
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain all special accesses required on the facility.
- Extensive experience in report writing, security operations, and documenting/correcting personnel disciplinary issues immediately.
