About the role
- Perform routine tests, mix/cast chemicals and energetics, collect data, and operate equipment in accordance with standard procedures
- Conduct laboratory procedures for chemical analysis with wet chemical techniques or analytical instruments
- Applies results for quality control purposes, process or product failure analysis or other forensic purposes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience
- Valid Driver’s license
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to work with various hand tools
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to follow safety practices and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
