About the role
- Responsible for training and mentoring sailors and watch teams at the apprentice to master operator level
- Maintain, transport and repair components of a complex naval submarine system
- Collect and provide data to Engineers as part of the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process
- Review and provide input on new test procedures and related program documents
- Identify training gaps and create training products focused on improving those gaps in the submarine electronic warfare domain
- Provide technical assistance for in-water test events, including logistics, rigging, and de-rigging of equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Knowledge of Navy and Maintenance Engineering Requirements
- Understanding of Navy, major command, and other levels of maintenance engineering program requirements
- Knowledge of Submarines, Surface Ships, and Weapons Systems
