About the role
- Perform routine tests, mix/cast chemicals and energetics, collect data, and operate equipment in accordance with standard procedures.
- Conduct laboratory procedures for chemical analysis with wet chemical techniques or analytical instruments.
- Applies results for quality control purposes, process or product failure analysis or other forensic purposes, contamination analysis or for the understanding of results from engineering development activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Mechanical ability.
- Ability to work with various hand tools.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to follow safety practices and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the work team and those contacted in the course of work.
- Ability to work with management, supervisor or lead personnel to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines.
