About the role
- Design and development of embedded software and platforms for next generation tactical radios.
- Consult with cross-functional engineering groups to evaluate operational requirements and define software goals for implementation.
- Lead small team through the complete software development lifecycle, utilizing best practices and adhering to Agile Scrum processes.
- Prepare technical work estimates and provide input to project planning.
- Provide guidance, assistance and mentorship to other engineers.
- Participate in Agile Scrum activities including the decomposition of complex tasks for Sprint Planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- 7+ years of C/C++ programming language and Object Oriented Analysis and Design
