About the role
- Provide design support to engineers on technical projects and/or products
- Prepares PTC Creo or Siemens NX CAD models and associative engineering drawings
- Performs mathematical calculations and simple tolerance analysis per engineering specifications
- Recommends alternative design solutions to problems and obstacles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- 1-3 years of experience with CAD software tools (PTC Creo or Siemens NX)
- Familiar with ASME Y14.5
- Knowledge of solid propulsion systems design and manufacturing methods
