- Manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance.
- Provide guidance to a team of mechanical engineers.
- Devise solutions to complex engineering problems independently or by soliciting input.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external customers.
- Work on technical direction to drive program success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior mechanical design engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior mechanical design engineering experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior mechanical design engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with basic material selection, sheet metal design practices, basic machining practices and hardware selection.
- Proficiency with PTC’s Creo 8.0 or later revision.
- Proficiency and experience with ASME Y14.5-1994.
- Ability to serve as a GD&T SME for the organization.
