About the role
- Gather, compose, and edit technical information for flight manuals and maintenance manuals
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to gather information
- Author and generate content for technical documentation in systems like FrameMaker
- Ensure documentation adheres to industry standards and regulations
- Communicate with various contacts to explain operational processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of prior technical writing experience
- Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of prior technical writing experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of thirteen (13) years of prior technical writing experience in an Aerospace-driven environment or within the defense industry
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Must have Active Secret Clearance at the time of hire
- Must be a US Citizen
