About the role

  • Development of advanced communication subsystem hardware/software for multi-segment applications
  • Lead multi-disciplined engineering teams in development of new capabilities
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee parts, materials and process flow down
  • Organize, participate, and manage key project/program engineering tasks
  • Leads requirements analysis and decomposition
  • Lead design synthesis and generation of supporting documentation
  • Ensure technical performance, quality, and adherence to policies
  • Develop and present project/program design reviews
  • Participation in customer request for information (RFI) and new business development pursuits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Active U.S. Government DOD Top Secret Clearance
  • Leadership skills with ability to guide technical direction/vision
  • Understanding of communication theory
  • Working knowledge of digital design, RF design, mechanical design, network design, or software design
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in requirements management and documentation
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and formal presentation skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, DOORs, or similar tools
