About the role

  • Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures to inspect, test, and evaluate the precision and accuracy of products
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of a team of Quality Technicians
  • Plan and establish goals, objectives, tasking, coaching, and support
  • Work to achieve programmatic and personnel operational targets
  • Continuously look for opportunities to make improvements in processes, systems, solutions, or products
  • Coordinate and lead the resolution of non-conformances
  • Review product drawings and documents for completeness and compliance
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier, and subcontractor representatives
  • Perform audits of quality control processes
  • Train team members on quality control processes and policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Top Secret/SCI US Security Clearance w/ Poly Preferred
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience working programs requiring compliance to AS9100D
  • ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Experience with Oracle Agile PLM, Windchill, Cincom, and DOORS software suites
  • Supplier Quality / Supplier Development experience
  • Strong knowledge and skills within the Quality profession
