About the role
- Provide support to the Business Area's growth strategy
- Form and lead/orchestrate a capture team
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis
- Determine resources needed to pursue business opportunities
- Advocate for bid strategies and champion pricing
- Manage the transition from business opportunity to proposal development
- Drive outcomes management has approved
- Support the proposal team in a consulting role post approved Gate 2
- Assess competitive position to inform the win strategy
- Initiate teaming agreements and small business plan as necessary
- Plan, hold, and participate in key decision Gates and progress reviews
- Conduct lessons learned/analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Secret US Security Clearance Preferred
- Proven track record of leading captures
- Capable of shaping customer requirements early by engaging senior government leaders
- Skilled in building and enforcing disciplined capture plans
- Established, trust-based relationships across senior government customers
- Strong competency in competitive assessment and Black Hat analysis
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred
- Understanding of end-to-end space missions and associated ground architectures
