About the role
- Lead complex technical deployment projects that are critical for achieving key business outcomes.
- Manage a small team, which could include functional, cross-functional, and delivery partners.
- Ensure that project planning, execution, dependencies, and controls are effectively integrated within complex environments.
- Establishment and implementation of project management framework, and all associated functions and disciplines.
- End-to-end project management to ensure all dependencies are coordinated to achieve on time delivery, within budget and agreed quality.
- Coordinate functional, cross-functional and subcontractors to ensure on time delivery is achieved on a day-to-day basis.
- Implementation of project controls in a fluid manner, aligning to the project framework.
- Creation and management of regular progress and management reports.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management with a minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure or engineering, such as a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Alternatively, a Graduate Degree (Master's or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience is required.
- Formal qualification in project management desirable, able to deliver in agile, hybrid or waterfall methodology.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects and programs with a strong engineering focus.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at operational and government levels.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
