About the role
- Supports tooling in prescribing compounds and providing preventive maintenance to complex custom equipment
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and laboratory areas
- Assists in the test and check-out of custom tooling
- Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
- May work with complex machines or computer systems
- Performs calibration and alignment check, prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
- Performs complete Preventive Maintenance on complex custom Tooling
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years of prior relevant Engineering Technician experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Tooling experience is preferred
- Familiarity of GD&T
- Previous mechanical knowledge
