About the role
- Act as a partner to the Business Area General Manager
- Assume responsibility for P&L Ownership of performance metrics
- Articulate financial insights and recommendations
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders cross functionally
- Develop and present key financial metrics to executive leadership
- Provide weekly analysis and status of key drivers to financial forecasts
- Actively recruit and develop the talent of program financial analysts
- Focus on onboarding new hires with emphasis on training
- Drive process improvements in line with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related analytical field
- Minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Experience in leading finance teams within the defense sector
- Proven success in adapting financial practices
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Expertise in Earned Value Management concepts and processes
- US citizenship required
