About the role
- Responsible for planning and execution of various programs
- Coordinate directly with customers and manage the internal Integrated Product Team (IPT)
- Drive program execution to achieve key business objectives
- Develop and manage program plans, schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Manage customer expectations and customer satisfaction
- Lead program meetings and customer reviews
- Generate program documentation and identify risks and opportunities
- Review and understand customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Program Management experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- Experience in the aerospace and/or defense industry
- Experience supporting programs that are both Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus
- Experience in structures and Materials and Processes (M&P) engineering
- Good understanding of programs, design engineering, quality and manufacturing
- Experience in an AS9100 registered organization
- Experience coordinating with Global Trade Compliance and understanding U.S. export regulations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
