About the role

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets to ensure project objectives are met on time and within cost constraints and scope
  • Responsible for technical baseline development, resource identification, allocation and management of team through a matrix structure
  • Lead the technical development of the program.
  • Engage with other cross-functional leaders, advocating the Program’s needs and priorities.
  • Interface and work closely with the customer(s) on technical and contractual requirements.
  • Working in conjunction with PM and Proposal Lead, to decompose business case.
  • Proactively engage in risk management to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior related experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Systems Engineer, Project Engineer or similar role.
  • 2 or more years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 4 years or more experience using Root Cause Analysis techniques
  • Ability to obtain security clearance from the US Government which requires US Citizenship.
