About the role
- Lead a team of project and systems engineers
- Responsible for development and maintenance of Project Engineering process documentation for lifecycle execution of DoD programs
- Provide guidance and support to seasoned PEs during the execution of DoD Programs
- Chair program execution reviews to ensure programs are aligned for cost, schedule, staffing and scope
- Review periodic reports from the PE team and senior leadership
- Maintain accountability for successful completion of all DoD pursuit activities
- Lead a team responsible for providing engineering knowledge and experience to Business Development and Sales
- Track ongoing opportunities with engineering content for DoD customers
- Support team engineers through career guidance and suggest training activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
- minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Ability to clearly articulate direction, status, issues, risks, and opportunities
- Ability to partner with stakeholders and team leaders to identify needs and develop marketable Tactical Communication System solutions
- Proven and effective communications skills
- Active US DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
