About the role

  • Authoring and/or Generating content for illustrated parts catalogs, maintenance manuals, flight operation, mission systems, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) documents, in an Unstructured/Structured FrameMaker environment or other authoring software for commercial and or Air Force, Army, or Navy programs
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater at time of hire
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders and customers at varying levels
  • Demonstrated understanding of MS Office Suite and applications
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles, reading schematics and/or wiring diagrams
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ATA iSpec 2200, MIL-PRF-38807C, and MIL-STD-37874
  • Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of VIPSAM Mission Systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 747/757 Boeing airframes and avionics
  • Demonstrated technical publication authoring experience within structured authoring environments to include Unstructured and/or Structured FrameMaker
  • Ability to work within and potentially lead defined budgets and meet schedule deadlines
