About the role
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
- Oversee the integration of engineering systems and components on the ship
- Provide status updates and reports to stakeholders
- Conduct system integration testing and troubleshoot issues
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies
- Provide technical support and problem solving on-site
- Review and comment on supplier technical data, drawings, and technical procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- significant project and system architecture experience in naval business strategy
- 6+ years prior experience working with shipyards
- Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance.
