About the role
- responsible for safety, cost, quality, delivery, and productivity of manufacturing teams
- work closely with multiple functional areas to optimize material flow, equipment, and workforce requirements
- provide leadership to the Production Supervisors and team members
- drive continuous improvement and remove waste from product lines
- develop production build plan and oversee daily execution
- lead daily production standups and meetings
- drive yield improvement activities and equipment performance
- create and support implementation of cross training initiatives
- present daily, weekly, and monthly status reports as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years prior related experience or a Graduate Degree with minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Experience with Enterprise ERP system
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Experience in Material Planning and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Experience with Sales, Inventory, and Operations planning (SIOP)
- Experience managing production programs involving the build, integration and test of electronic and/or electromechanical systems
- Experience developing proposal inputs
- Demonstrated strong experience implementing a metric driven approach across all Operations functions
- Demonstrated fundamental knowledge in EH&S to drive zero injury plans
