About the role
- Directs all phases of assigned Production programs from inception through completion.
- Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned Production programs.
- Uses Earned Value techniques (EVMS) to baseline, monitor, and control assigned programs.
- Directs the work of employees assigned to Production programs.
- Leads the negotiation of new Production contracts and amendments to existing contracts.
- Coordinates the preparation, Statement of Work (SOW) specifications, financial/contractual terms.
- Acts as a point of contact with customers for Production program activities.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related program management experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related program management experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related technical and program management experience.
- Requirement to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance within 1 yr. from date of hire.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Fluent with Costpoint ERP/MRP.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
