About the role
- Ensure products and services procured from suppliers meet quality requirements
- Plan, organize, direct and report on all supplier quality related activities
- Foster a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating cooperatively
- Establish department objectives, including key metrics and strategic goals
- Manage the evaluation, planning, and execution of department activities
- Utilize analytical and software skills to collect, analyze, prepare, and format reports
- Develop and execute staffing plans
- Maintain training records IAW company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree
- 9 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years prior related experience
- In lieu of degree, minimum of 13 years related Quality experience
- Prior experience in being able to obtain support and influence internal, customer, and supplier personnel
- Prior experience in data analysis through the collection and organization of data
- Prior experience in risk management
- Prior leadership experience to obtain buy-in from internal and external parties
