About the role
- Configure, and deploy network solutions based on business requirements.
- Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Maintain equipment, inventory, IP schema's and network diagrams.
- Implement security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
- Support ICD 503 Risk Mitigation Framework (RMF) processes by patching, hardening, and/or upgrading systems as appropriate.
- Travel for this position can be up to 20% annually.
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 35 pounds across campus for various needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI CompTIA Security + CE Certification Preferred.
- CCNA or Network + Experience with DOD encryption devices.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Self-motivated, able to switch tasks easily, work independently.
- Experience with the configuration and ability to manage Solarwinds.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
