About the role
- Represent Production Operations as the primary responsible individual for achievement of cost and schedule commitments
- Primary interface from Operations to the Program Management Office (PMO)
- Develop and execute manufacturing program plans and schedules for successful execution of production
- Lead the manufacturing support team through problem resolution efforts
- Coordinate make / buy policy implementation and capital expenditure determination
- Support proposal preparation for new business and changes in program scope
- Participate in Capacity Planning and maintain manufacturing & test schedules
- Contribute to the development of process improvements for cost and schedule performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in leading a multi-functional, technically oriented, Integrated Product Team in an operations environment
- Significant working experience with execution of earned value management (EVM)
- Experience in creating and managing budgets for both operational and capital expenses; proven experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experienced with all phases of manufacturing and program management
- Extensive experience in manufacturing; preferably experience in Shop Operations
- Operations Planning, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement also desirable
- Strong operations and engineering analytical and technical writing skills
- Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office products, including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance which requires US Citizenship
