About the role
- Represent Operations for achievement of cost and schedule commitments.
- Primary interface from Operations to the PMO and other functions.
- Work with other OPMs to resolve priority conflicts on the shop floor.
- Serve as Earned Value Management Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Develop and execute manufacturing program plans and schedules.
- Lead the manufacturing support team through problem resolution.
- Support proposal preparation and make/buy analysis.
- Participate in Capacity Planning for the site.
- Be a primary contributor to the development of process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret Clearance Required to Start.
- Working experience with execution of earned value management (EVM);
- Experience in creating and managing budgets for both operational and capital expenses
- Strong understanding of all Operations and Supply Chain roles and functions.
- Prior experience in using computer-based project management tools.
- Prior experience in identifying process constraints, developing improvement plans.
- Knowledge and use of MS Office products, including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in the deployment and use of Lean and 6 Sigma manufacturing tools/methods.
- Manufacturing Processes, Flow, Shop Orders, Bill of Material, Routers, Drawing, Etc.
- Operations Leadership Experience.
- Program Budget & Department Budget Management Experience.
- Project and/or Program Management Experience.
- Continuous Process Improvement / Lean Six Sigma Experience.
- Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) Management.
- ERP/MRP Experience (Supply & Demand).
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills for collaborating with all levels of the organization.
