About the role

  • Represent Operations for achievement of cost and schedule commitments.
  • Primary interface from Operations to the PMO and other functions.
  • Work with other OPMs to resolve priority conflicts on the shop floor.
  • Serve as Earned Value Management Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Develop and execute manufacturing program plans and schedules.
  • Lead the manufacturing support team through problem resolution.
  • Support proposal preparation and make/buy analysis.
  • Participate in Capacity Planning for the site.
  • Be a primary contributor to the development of process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance Required to Start.
  • Working experience with execution of earned value management (EVM);
  • Experience in creating and managing budgets for both operational and capital expenses
  • Strong understanding of all Operations and Supply Chain roles and functions.
  • Prior experience in using computer-based project management tools.
  • Prior experience in identifying process constraints, developing improvement plans.
  • Knowledge and use of MS Office products, including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in the deployment and use of Lean and 6 Sigma manufacturing tools/methods.
  • Manufacturing Processes, Flow, Shop Orders, Bill of Material, Routers, Drawing, Etc.
  • Operations Leadership Experience.
  • Program Budget & Department Budget Management Experience.
  • Project and/or Program Management Experience.
  • Continuous Process Improvement / Lean Six Sigma Experience.
  • Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) Management.
  • ERP/MRP Experience (Supply & Demand).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills for collaborating with all levels of the organization.
