About the role

  • Responsible for the lay out, fabrication, and installation of electrical wiring and coaxial cable on aircraft, vehicles or transportation equipment in accordance with drawings, technical manuals or other written instructions.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years aircraft electrical assembly and install experience.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background, drug, & medical screening; subject to FAA requirements and random substance abuse screening.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Preferred Additional Skills: Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A&P license.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong team member.
  • Proven ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of general aircraft electrical systems and assembly principles and techniques.
  • Ability to be certified to operate vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required to meet business objectives.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required.
