About the role

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment, health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations
  • Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS
  • Assists in a variety of duties to include sampling, observations, training, and inspections
  • Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning, building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met
  • Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist
  • Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related EH&S experience
  • Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related EH&S experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related EH&S experience
  • Experienced in OSHA 1910 General Industry
  • Experienced in OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry
  • Strong knowledge of standards, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and ANSI including familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work within a high pressure and fast-paced environment.
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Aerospace experience preferred
