About the role

  • Oversee all aspects of program execution from planning to completion including program kickoff, development, qualification, delivery, and program closeout
  • Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and L3Harris policies and procedures
  • Maintain documentation as well as track milestones, funding, and schedules related to programs
  • Ensure all details are communicated timely and accurately to program stakeholders
  • Report financial, schedule, technical, and overall performance metrics to both external and internal stakeholders and executive management
  • Establish performance measurement baselines and monitor project performance using Earned Value metrics
  • Analyze performance data to identify variances, trends, and potential risks
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams resolving issues and building trust
  • Arrange and support strategic customer engagements and partner with functional leads to ensure appropriate staffing
  • Identify opportunities and risks and implement strategies to minimize impact of risks and ensure the smooth delivery of program objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to enhance program delivery and support organizational growth
  • Manage the identification, evaluation, and approval process for contract change requests (formal and informal requests) ensuring all change requests are documented accurately and evaluated in a timely manner
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments for proposed changes, focusing on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
  • Identify growth opportunities within current program portfolio or opportunities for growth beyond existing programs
  • Lead proposal development from kickoff through contract negotiations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
  • Knowledge of ITAR and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) desired
  • PMP or PgMP certification is a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and overseeing multiple projects delivered on time and on budget
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to travel as needed to visit customers and/or suppliers
