About the role
- Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products
- Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans
- Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant Engineer experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related Engineer experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Engineer experience
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on manufacturing planning
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Manufacturing Engineering (CMfgE) (preferred)
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple and complex projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems)
