About the role
- Serve as the primary operator of the CT scanner, including setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for CT scanning and related inspection processes.
- Split responsibilities between automation (Python scripting for inspection routines and data analysis) and failure analysis (root cause and corrective action investigations).
- Design and 3D print custom fixturing to support part inspection and scanning.
- Perform dimensional analysis using CT data and as needed, CMM equipment.
- Generate clear, detailed inspection reports and present findings to internal teams.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve defects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant field and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with CMM equipment and other metrology tools.
- Familiarity with CAD software for fixture and tooling design.
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
- Strong GD&T background.
