About the role
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to develop and manage system models using Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Design and implement software systems and microservice architectures to support space mission engineering.
- Decompose high-level requirements into detailed, actionable specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct system-level analyses and trade studies to support design decisions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface control documents, and test plans.
- Support the verification and validation of system requirements through rigorous testing and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- 4+ years experience decomposing complex requirements into detailed specifications
- Professional experience working in Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools
- Professional experience developing microservice architecture and its application in software systems
